As a professor with special responsibilities Niels will strengthen internet research within media studies as well as the further development of the faculty’s focus on the digital humanities. In particular, focus will be placed on internet history and historiography, and on the development of digitally supported methods and tools that can promote access to digital resources, and digital research infrastructure.

Niels Brügger was appointed the 1st of June. An inaugural lecture will be held the 28th of August, 15.00-16.00.
