DIGHUMLAB launch September 10th 2012
The new ambitious research project DIGHUMLAB is inviting everyone to participate in the launch and seminar taking place at Aarhus University.
DIGHUMLAB aims to develop new digital tools and methods that will create new opportunities for research in areas such as literature, media, anthropology, archeology, urban studies, journalism and art history. The mission is to "contribute to skills development, internationalisation and innovation through a national focus on Digital Humanities in research, education and knowledge transfer." (www.dighumlab.dk).
The launch and seminar will take place on Monday September 10th 2012 from 12 pm to 5.30 pm at the Peter Bøgh Andersen Auditorium in the Nygaard building. Here the scope of the project will be presented as well as new groundbreaking Nordic and international research within the field of digital humanities.
Besides Aarhus University also Aalborg University (AAU), The University of Copenhagen (KU) and The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) participates in the project.
