Abstract Niels Brügger:
This presentation discusses some of the methodological challenges which may arise from performing network analyses on archived web material by the use of analytical software. Among others, the presentation will discuss such issues as completeness, temporal and spatial inconsistencies as well as a number of practical challenges. The methodological discussion takes as its point of departure the case of the political network on the web in relation to the Danish parliamentary elections in 2011, 2007 and 2001.
